Concerned with the future of Montréal’s youth, social justice and harmonious integration of the city’s cultural communities, Frantz Benjamin has often been involved with the city’s socio-cultural communities. From 2003 to 2008, Mr. Benjamin chaired the Montréal Intercultural Council. During the course of his impressive career, he also co-chaired Montréal’s racial profiling taskforce and the project to support social involvement and citizen participation as part of the Haitian community’s general assembly. A poet, communicator and man of letters, Frantz Benjamin is also the Pointe-de-l’Île’s School Commissioner.
